do you ever have so much to do that you just decide not to do any of it? that's my life this semester. i'm working through it.

i've started my first short story for my thesis. i've only got two pages but it's developing. i need to write another few pages tonight. i need to have a draft by friday.

writing is a weird thing for me right now. i haven't written actual stories in about a year and a half. it's an odd sensation.

i'm being petty and i recognize that, but sometimes i believe that i have the right to be. i don't, honestly. but i want to believe that i do.
