the ladies at my bank kept pestering me saying, "now don't you have a fella?" to which i replied, "oh no not for a long time now." this evidently gives them the license to ask me what happened? weren't we engaged? did you break up with him? what happened? until i eventually say, "he didn't know how to be nice" and i have to endure their eyes looking at me like i'm a pathetic little girl who will never have anyone else ever again.
in a month it will have been two years.
GET OUT OF MY LIFE AND GET OUT OF MY HEAD GOD DAMN IT.
