my brother went to work hopped up on a medley of drugs. he was sent to acute care and he's now detoxing in the hospital. if he goes to rehab he won't lose his job.

he told my mother, "i haven't had any help in the last six years."

i want to punch him in his goddamn face.

and then hug him.

and cry.
