how can you miss someone when they were never physically there to begin with? when you see them more, talk to them more now that they're so far away?

maybe i miss the idea that it stood a chance.

i find it interesting that in the beginning, i shrugged off the idea that you would ever like me because you talked to me while at work. now i say you talk to me because you don't yet have a job. i've always been available, either way, see.
