it's not hard to say, "are you feeling better?"

take a step back.

recognize that any normal person would look at this as an overreaction.

realize that your feelings are hurt.

that this person doesn't mean to hurt your feelings.

doesn't even know they're hurting your feelings.

it doesn't matter.

people are different from you.

you cannot make other people care about you in the same way that you care about them.

you just can't.

so stop trying.


i feel fine for so long and then it just hits me like a ton of bricks again.


why do i tell myself that every time i feel something, it's an overreaction?
