as soon as my niece, addi, saw me today, she was stuck to me. "tia! tia! catch me! catch me!" and then she would jump into the pool and i'd catch her before she went under water.

she just kept going and going and my mom just told me over and over how much she is like how i was at her age, how i would never stop and i would swim and swim and jump in and swim some more.

on the way home i thought about how i want to move away, go to another country, all of that. but god, i never want to miss her growing up.
