tonight, i took my boyfriend to see ron funches perform downtown. he laughed so hard and was so goddamn happy. and it was a random thing that i bought the tickets and i surprised him, and he was just so happy.

i just wish it felt reciprocated.

i have two secretly pregnant friends and i could just die i'm so fucking happy about it. and terrified. everyone around me is getting engaged, married, having babies, and i feel...stunted. like i'm not actually moving forward. like really i'm just a teenager talking to teenagers about books at my job. i guess the reality is you never feel ready. you just have to go with it.
