speaking french in paris

i literally just want to document that on our way back to colombes from paris tonight, I spoke to our cab driver, IN FRENCH (because he didn’t know english), for 25 minutes straight!!! i am so ridiculously proud of myself. i like this feeling. i miss speaking french so much, so so much. fantastic feeling, truly.
