i love going to the bar one minute down the street to meet tito (for whom the bar is also one minute down the street), playing connect four while we wait for angela and javier. i love walking through carrefour with them, everyone switching between french, english, spanish, and italian. and i love going to the games cafe, trying to learn the rules in french, answering trivia about a country i don’t know well enough, laughing until my face is bright red - until they point it out and i become even redder.
i want to do this every wednesday.
this, nights like these, this is all i actually need.
