good moments

i spent a lovely couple of hours last night sitting on the back porch, a glass of wine in hand, reading
elle et lui (which i still haven't finished yet...). it was chilly enough that i was wearing a hoodie, and emma sat down by my feet or in my lap (whenever she decided she needed a change). it was a kind of solitude i don't often get to experience now.
there are so many good moments. i just have to pay more attention to them.
