he told me that he thought of me when he visited new york last year, that he thought of me when he heard about the floods in kentucky. he had wanted to message me, but felt bad -- he explained that he thought my last message indicated that i didn't want to see him again, so he never followed up afterward.
it was so strange and kind.
the idea that you may be crossing someone's mind whom you haven't thought about in ages is just... a bit magical, i suppose.
