in which i lease an apartment

we found an adorable one bedroom apartment with 70's style cabinets and i, for one, am in love. i can't wait to move everything in, to decorate, to actually live in it. plus, we live right across from the soon-to-be-newlyweds. a nice touch, for sure. their apartment is decorated beyond adorably. i'm in on the whole mis-matchy random stuff in one room type of thing, though.

we're going to sand down and paint my drawer and night stand and the $6 coffee table he found at goodwill. our new trash can is red and we have free bar stools.

i just have a feeling that it's going to be a good year.
