i got up at 5:20 this morning to come to work with my mom. she told me, "you can sleep on the drive over" which is about 40-45 minutes. i tried, but then she kept talking to me, moving from subject to subject. it was sweet.
so we got to the beauty shop and after about 30 minutes, i HAD to take a nap. absolutely had to. so i lied down on the massage table with a blanket and slept for two hours.
then i got up and played with baby adalynn. (mom has taken to calling her addi lane, which is cute [adalynn elaine].) she's such a sweet baby. she really is.
but i dislike people who think they know everything about babies and how to deal with them and what you should do with them. i want to say, shut up, people. (man i'm mean!)
it amazes me the things people will tell you in a beauty shop. every time i come here i'm surprised. we've already had one woman crying, one girl talking about getting engaged, one woman telling us about her falls. i don't know, it's interesting i guess.
it is about time for another nap, but mom surprised me and said i'm getting a pedicure today!!!
