travis and his future

he's thinking about quitting basketball and transferring to another school. he hates where he is.
i talked him through all of the possible options, all of the possible outcomes. i gave him advice from personal experience and told him to, if nothing else, make this decision for himself, not for anyone else.
in the end, he told me i'd been the most help so far.
that made me so happy. connecting with my brother on a level like that, about something very important in his life, it's a wonderful feeling.
