last weekend before school

but here is this:
on saturday, seth planned an entire secret date that lasted all day for me, just to make sure my last weekend before school started would be special. we had a delicious brunch, where we sat out on the covered patio and indulged in too much hollandaise; we stopped by ten20 to sample their delicious sours; we had a couple's massage; we went to the bookstore, where he bought me two books; we bought two nicer bottles of wine, which we consumed later that night; we had delicious local ice cream; for dinner, he made me a charcuterie board; and finally, for the entertainment, we played a murder mystery game, which we both got dressed up for, and which he decorated the downstairs for, jazz music playing in the back.
it was so, so wonderful.
i feel very lucky to have him, and i feel very sad to not have him every single day.
